It is just the 10 minute block (you can find a tutorial here on the board) and my own block placement. I very seldom follow a complete pattern, usually just pick a block I want to try and run with it.

Great mix on the fabrics and the Ten Minute ..... nice focus on the boats!!!
And a beautiful quilt with ties to Mommy's and Daddy's past.
It'll be a treasure to them, for sure!!!!

That is very good looking. Thanks for the hint on the minkee stuff. I don't even like the feel of it but a friend wanted a baby quilt done with it....think I will try to talk her out of it.

I think it is absolutely adorable. Gotta love the ten minute block--I have just finished a quilt for my soon to be mother in law, and it only took a short while......

Very pretty quilt! The backing goes perfectly with the design on the front. You did a nice job making the quilt.
