    Hi, Lori,
    The fairy blocks were cut at 4 1/2. I used 2 1/2 inch strips of blue and yellow which after being sewn were cut 2 1/2. (same for pink & green) The yellow rectangles were 2 1/2 by 4 1/2. Purple strips cut at 1 1/2. I made the border much more narrow than the pattern called for which was I think 6 1/2. Mine were cut at 3.
