How do you keep rick rack from folding over when it's laundered? My experience is that it kinda rolls up instead of staying flat.

Have you tried Machine Binding with a Flange? Its super easy and totally eliminates this problem. (Lots of tutorials online.) I also love the finished look. Its the only way I do binding! I'm attaching a scan of the corner of one of my chicken quilts. The striped fabric is the back view and in the front you can see the green binding with the rust-gold flange. Don't give up until you try it!

Did you see Kitsie's baby quilt with the blanket stitches holding down the front of the binding? It looks doable. That said, I love you quilt, both the fabrics and the quilting. Lucky baby.

Pretty little quilt... You did a great job with your FMQ. I have only tried one machine binding on a baby quilt... I think it takes practice. : (
