My DS used to LOVE to do counted cross-stitch... in between running tack & skate boarding. LOL! He never considered it anything less than manly. He found it relaxing & BTW... he did fabulous work. His stitches were so even & nice.

Your boys do awesome work & I'm so glad they take orders because I have a bunch of Project Linus projects in mind that will need their magic!

Bryce sure did a great job on those quilts! A lot better than I do! My GS & I were at the LQS the other day & he got to try out a longarm. For being 8 years old, he did a great job. Now he wants to play on my longarm!

Looks like the boys inherited your quilting talent... Great work, it is nice that the younger generation is interesed in quilting.. I have 3 grown daughters and two of them are sort of interested, they have not gone so far as to quilt anything yet, but they have both made a couple of quilts.. I keep trying to keep them interested

Unbeleivable job (sp?). I wish I could get my son into having interest in anything quilting related other then the end result.

WOW, Bryce sure does have a knack for using the templates. I have a 9" throat machine and I love doing the large meander, stipple, whatever. I'm thinking quilting is in their genes.

My mother and aunts used the Baptist fan to quilt all of their quilts by hand. They used a piece of chalk tied to a string to mark the lines, then quilted on the lines. We had a wooden quilt frame held together on the corners by "C" clips, and it hung from the ceiling. It rolled up at night, then was rolled down again in the morning to start quilting.

Both the boys did a great job. It is wonderful that you have the patience to show them how to do quilting.

You are so fortunate that your "babies" love what you do. And the greatest part is that they each seem to find their comfort in one fashion or another. They each do wonderful work. Thanks for sharing.
The bad news is - time flies.
The good news is - you're the pilot!
