    I did a bargello and had the same thoughts as you but now that I have bordered it out it just seems to have finished it nicely so I vote for borders.

    well is it to be a lap quilt or a wall hanging. if a lap quilt, i'd add borders to it for sure.

    I love how Eddie bordered his...2 borders different sizes, same color with a thin strip or flange between in a contrasting color. Looks like a matted framed piece of art!

    Love it! I would add a narrow dark blue border or just bind in dark blue. It depends on how big you want it to be.

    I'm on the "yes" do borders team. If it were mine I'd do two, smaller lighter one inside and larger darker one outside. It's absolutely fantastic. Now, gosh darn it , I've added yet another for the bucket list!

    oh, it's beautiful. i vote for ending with a dark border to set off your beautiful work. is this a strip piece pattern? :-) :thumbup:
