    That is absolutely beautiful. I too agree with the black border. Don't do anything that will draw the eye away from that beautiful quilt.

    Chele - your batik bargello is wonderful! I love batiks and making bargello quilts and putting them together like this is so creative. Great job!

    Oh hhhhhhhh that is wonderful......I would put a black border as Shadow Dancer suggested.....but it is yours and do what you like ......it will be stunning for sure....:-)

    I agree with SD, throw in a 4 inch black border. It'll stop the eye traveling to the sides and focus on the center! GREAT JOB! :thumbup: :lol: :thumbup: :lol:

    Absolutely beautiful Chele. I like SD's idea for a black boarder too or if you wanted to I bet you could just continue the Bargello design out further too as an alternative idea. You did a great job!!

    Just caught up with this - wow, it's stunning - I was going to suggest black too and then I saw you did it! It's great, really frames the pattern and makes it POP!!!

    I'm not usually a bargello fan.... but this one is too darn cute. Your fabrics are perfect for it. It's got that 70's feel.
    She who dies with the most fabric, didn't sew fast enough!
