I LOVE batiks. This is absolutely gorgeous. And it's going to the beach??? No way would I have it on the ground - but that's just me. To each his/her own.

Lovely quilt. For me, I couldn't bear to throw that lovely a quilt on the sand! I'd have to put down a blanket on the sand first, then the quilt. And the sun will probably bleach out those beautiful colors. You are brave!
