    That is a fine quilt. I tell people that making quilts for $ is not a way to earn a real income, but it can be fun to get the ooohs and ahhhhs.

    This is a great tale of how people don't realize the actual cost, and also how we don't realize the amount of time it really takes from start to finish. Thanks for telling your story. It is a beautiful quilt - too bad you couldn't keep it for yourself!

    I love the colors! You did a great job!

    I understand about making a quilt when you're getting paid. It's not as much fun as when you are making it for someone out of the goodness of your own heart.

    It is very pretty though. I'm sure your customer is going to appreciate it for a long time!

    It turned out beautiful and I agree with you, it is not a job I would want to be doing. Most people don't realize the time and $$ that goes into one. I am so glad she was happy with it.
