My friend, Julie, has two kids. A few years ago when her daughter was getting married, I gave Jamie a quilt at her bridal shower. Julie's son is getting married to Traci, this summer. A while back, Traci showed me a quilt that her grandma made for her. Very nice quilt, by the way. When Julie called to tell me that Jamie is pregnant, she said 'now, you will have to make two quilts'. I planned on making a baby quilt whenever needed. I asked Julie 'why two'? She said one for the baby and one for Traci. I told Julie that since Traci's grandma makes quilts, I never even thought about making one for her. Julie said every time Traci sees Jamie's quilt, she is expecting one. Traci's favorite color is red. In fact, her bridal attendants will be wearing red.

I made this quilt for Traci from a pattern in the February/March 2011 issue of The Quilter Magazine. Even though color in the picture looks orangey red, it is true RED - Santa Claus or Valentine red and chocolate brown. It is 86 X 99.

That's really pretty. If red is her color she should love it!
