Thank you QuiltE! My mom loved tulips but didn't have them in her garden.

Very pretty. I think this may be one of my favorite.

I love them too, but because the squirrels love them too much, they are not in my garden either.
Lots of daffodils, and I even have them growing in the grass ... it seems they don't care for them!!

Well Oma (that's what my 2 GC call their other Gram), these additional blocks keep adding to the treasure this quilt is becoming!
QE, I agree daffodills are winning over tulips. I have moles that like the lovely tulip bulbs

I was working on the next block but the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with was here today to pick up his stuff. I feel so sad and lonely. It's so weird seeing somebody you love walk out of your life, knowing you will never see that person again. All this time I was hoping maybe.....when we see each other again.....it will take time to get over him. My mom married my step dad when she was 61 years old, I will turn 61 this December but no second marriage for me in the near future.

Never give up on life because you don't know what's around the next corner. Try to stop looking for the love of your life and just look for good and loving friends and a full and satisfying life. Get involved in community projects and giving of yourself to others. One of the people you meet may turn out to be that "love of your life" that you've been waiting for and they just needed a chance to be your friend first. I'm sure you have lots of love to give and there are lots of people out there who need someone to love them.

I managed to finish the block I was working on yesterday. Again, it's straight but doesn't look like that in the picture!
