    BQ2 quilt

    I saw a BQ2 photo on this forum and kept the picture, hoping to someday make one. I had this lovely poppy fabric and pulled from my stash the coordinating colors. Just needed a black to finish off. I just love it.

    Oh I love it too! It is so vibrant. The black background was the perfect choice
    hiding away in my stash where i'm warm, safe and happy

    I made a BQ (Big Quilt) also, but it took much longer than I thought it would. I found that the pattern seemed to be written backwards. So, after a couple of blocks, I got out the graph paper, made my own block and took off. I wonder if the pattern maker is left handed. Anyone else have this problem?

    Oh that is so pretty. I still have a top done in oriental prints. made that years ago. what size is yours?

    This quilt is absolutely yummy!!!! I love all the colors and really shows what black can do to make a quilt design pop! I am saving this quilt as one of my favorites. Thanks for sharing.
