    I see this the opposite of what you see. The left one my eye begins in the middle and travels up and down and across the quilt and back again and over and over. The one on the right has such a specific hard diamond shape my eye starts there and begins to travel but shortly the red and white turn black again so I just keep getting stuck back on those hard black diamonds.

    I like both. But if I had to pick it would be the one on the right. I love the colors. One of my favorite combos.

    I asked them what colors they wanted and this is what they said. I chose the design.

    These are the actual fabrics imported into EQ. The scale is really small for all but the border fabric. I had to really inlarge the fabric picture to get it to show somewhat to scale. I didn't bother with the others.

    Half of a braid done. I played around with the piece that's 3rd from the top, tried it there and as the last "white". It looked best at the end as it looked to me to be too dark as the transition from white to red.
