What a great idea to ditch your quilt before fmq. I have held off doing fmq for so long because I am afraid of the slippage I might get because my hands are weak from carpal tunnel and arthritis. I'm excited to try it your way now. I'll start with something small to get the hang of it. Thanks so much for sharing. You have inspired me to get started on my many finished tops.

I love your quilt and the layout of your fabrics.

Beautiful quilt, I love the colors and the FMQ, I almost always do a large stipple. I love doing it and I love the look, not into anything fanicer.

Very pretty! I found a braid pattern for Jelly rolls that Thinking of trying that this reminds me of, though I love the warm colors you used here!
