I vote with the rest of them. I make boy quilts, too, and never use butterflies or florals. Too "girly".

If you are making it for your nephew I think you should make it in his favorite patterns and favorite colors, he will love you that much more for it.

I raised 3 sons and 2 grandsons and non of them would have liked the butterflies. I think they are very pretty but not for boys.

I agree with the rest of the group. To girly....I had three boys and I don't think they would have cared for the butterflys. I love the rest of your fabric though. The dinosaur fab is awesome my two younger grandsons would love it.
Can I ask where you purchased it?

We have 5 sons...so based on experience no butterflies...bugs and beetles..perhaps, but a definite no for butterflies.
