    good point. Of course since it is only one button, I can take it out and put it back on after I quilt it. :) I'm getting quite good at undoing things.

    I`m glad I`m not the only one this has happened to...I ended up sewing small appliques in the middle to hide my mismatched points...

    Thanks everyone. I took this to my mom yesterday at lunch to show her. She's in a nursing home and will be 91 this December. She wanted it on her wall right then. No batting, no backing, no finishing it. Right THEN! So I promised her that when it was finished she could have it. Guess this means I have to finish it somewhat soon now. :)
