Very pretty and cheery quilt. I am glad it worked out so well for you.

This is a terrific idea. I saw the idea awhile ago, but now that I can see the results I may have to try this. I hate to thrown away all those really small pieces of fabric, but never have anything to fit them into. This type of patterns would be perfect. Thanks so much for sharing the pictures. You did a great job on this quilt, I really like the results.

What a creative scrappy. I really like the thin strips set off with the white....more calming on the eyes compared to what some make, I think called crumb quilts. Anyway, love all of your hints. Will keep this in mind for a future scrappy quilt. Thanks for sharing

No, the paper has dissolved."

This is how I have done it for many years. The paper just dissolves into the batting in the wash. No crinkly sound and no one knows it is there.

How fun is that? I can just see it with different backgrounds and lots of color. Great quilt.

When I do strip piecing from my scraps I call it making my own fabric. Little to no cost for a new quilt (eventually).
