Challenging myself.

I know I have used this phrase before, but all I can say is.........WOW! Those are beautiful!! I admire your quest! I could not imagine myself living long enough to make a quilt from all of my Mother's and my own quilt books and magazines!! I only hope I can manage to make a significant dent in my fabric stash!!

Those quilts are fantastic! I know what you mean about "collecting" books, and I think you have a great idea. I seem to have a lot of books, too, from which I have not yet made any quilts. I think I just may try to do the same thing, make at least one quilt from each book. That will help me figure out if I really want to keep the book, or not.

Delbra, they may have been harder then you thought but your excellence is definitely a testament to your talent. Both are simply gorgeous. I would take on your challenge of making one quilt out of each of my books, but there's no need for me to lie. I might start but it would become a UFO. Accomplishing your task, says a lot for your tenacity. Job Well Done.

Delbra, sorry to bother you and everyone with a second comment, but I printed your pictures out to take to my quilt group and next months guild meeting. You did such a marvelous job, I wanted those who aren't Quilting Board members to see your beautiful work.
