Cheery Cherry Quilt
#1
Another UFO for January!! #2!
This little beauty doesn't have a home yet ( too much BLUE for Erin's room as she HATES blue!) but it has been in the works for a long time. I started collecting the Mary Englebreit fabric about 8 years ago, then when we were in Florida 2 years ago I found the pattern for a Mary Engelbreit cherry quilt and decided to make it. The fabric wasn't a very good quality and the quilt was a little "wonky" when it was done so for two years it has sat in my sewing room waiting for the right time to get it layered and quilted. It took a lot of quilting to get it to lie flat but it is really quite pretty. Brighter than I usually do but that's OK!
