I love your chicken quilt just like it is. I also think you and your friend were right for walking out on the instructor. I also would have let the shop owner, where the class was held, exactly what the instructor did. What she did was WRONG.

Love the studio, the quilt and the story! The chicks look like they are in a hurry as I'm sure you and your friend were getting out of that class! Good for you.

Adorable quilt!! I too agree with everyone about choosing your own style and shame on the "teacher" for behaving so badly. I don't like every single type of technique that's out there either, but when one smacks me in the face, then that's the one I grab! Great job!!!

Love your sewing room AND the chickens!! I have a thing for chickens! That pattern looks familiar....can you tell us where you found it? And fi on instructors who scold students in public!!! Good for you...leaving!

Terrific studio and the quilt is adorable. I have that pattern but have not made it yet.....but your quilt and the alternative fabrics/design is giving me a push forward to do so.
