    Christmas table runner finished

I used the same mitten fabric for the binding and it worked well. It also goes quite well with the backing. I will put it away now until the holidays.Name: image.jpeg

You did a terrific job! Glad you were able to decide on the binding. It worked well.

Turned out great and nice to have a Christmas project finished ahead of time.

That's so cute! It made me think about making things out of season. Maybe that way I would have a Valentine's Day hanging or a Halloween one etc. You will enjoy this runner when Christmas comes again!

I love it! I can just picture a plate of cookies on one side and mugs of hot chocolate on the other side. I would enjoy using it all winter long. The pretty red on the backing would look nice for celebrating Valentines day!

Cute mittens - makes me think of a childhood story about kittens who lost their mittens.

I love the way it turned out. Just so adorable. I'm sorry you had so much trouble trying to match your tan fabrics. I know what a pain that is but your background fabric looks great for your binding.

Fantastic, as usual. Good choice for the binding and the red backing nails it. Would you share your secret on how to be doing Christmas projects this far in advance? I start in July and still end up working like a fiend to finish.

BettyGee, I don't do a lot of Christmas sewing but I just sew what I want no matter the time of year. I tend to slip in smaller projects like this between big quilts so I don't get bored.
