Well now gcathie, you sure are asking the wrong one. I have giant size "L" plates up on that so no use asking me. There are a lot of books out there and when I get to the stage it will read up on different designs. So far all I have attempted were free motion leaves, (they did look quite good :wink: ) however I had to make a drawing with chalk first to give me a clue as to where to go. Good luck. Elle

I love the double sashing. I am not sure if that is what it is called, but it is gorgeous!! Wonderful job.

Thanks Izy......ahhh you noticed .....my DH helped putting up a new closet rod from Lowes....(like a Hardware type store) This is working out nice....Darn I wish I would of had a photo of Mom ...DH took these....

tlrnhi.....Thanks....it looks a lot like the top but it is finished... back, border and all gonna enter in the local Fair...wish me luck!

That is one very beautiful quilt and I just love the colour.....is that one spoken for to, if not , well you know where to send it...

That is a really good tip about the paper buttonholes to keep track of your square. NEAT.
