Default Comfort Quilt for a dear friend

A dear friend from nursing school is fighting brain cancer. I made her this comfort quilt to cheer her and show my love and concern. It's a scrappy D9P. My friend was very touched that I made her a quilt.

Your comfort quilt is bright, cheerful and so beautifully quilted - I am certain your friend will greatly appreciate it.

My recent experience in making/giving a comfort quilt to a loved one turned out be the one thing that she wanted with her at all times. It truly was a 'comforting' quilt for my dear sister-in-law and I realized how much our loving gifts really do make a difference..

I will hold your friend in my prayers.

A very cheerful, loving expression that she can literally touch any time. I'm sorry you are suffering by watching her suffer. Life is so hard sometimes.

Love the quilt, and the circles! Great job, and she'll love it. What a great thing for you to do for her.

Thank you for your kind comments. This is my 2nd comfort quilt. I found that the process of making such a quilt is very therapeutic for me as I think of the recipient and offer prayers with each stitch. I think of the quilt as a big comforting hug that the recipient can enjoy as needed.
