Default Comfort quilt

A co-worker is battling cancer at home. I was asked to make a friendship quilt for her. I was inspired by a quilt shown here on the QB. I got out graph paper, charm squares and permanent markers. I took neutral squares to work and set up a autograph station. People did not follow directions and wrote all the way to the edge, wrote wordy messages and one person wrote hers with thick glitter glue, sigh. It still came out great, I could not have done it without a design wall. My friend was very touched and emotional when she got her quilt.

Great comfort quilt! Isn't it amazing how people can't follow instructions?

Bless your heart for making this quilt for her. I am sure she will be a lot warmer inside and out using this gift of love and support for her.

It's beautiful. Even though people can't follow directions, I'm sure the recipient doesn't care Having such a heart warming and body warming quilt to use during treatment will lighten her heart and help her through this challenge. You did a wonderful thing.
