Here is a over-sized "queen" quilt that I made for my DS for Christmas 2010. It was fun to make and relativlely easy. It just takes nerve to cut your quilt apart and then reassemble.

I like it. What do you mean about taking your quilt and cutting it apart and then reassembling it?

You make the entie quilt by sewing straight rows, there are no on-point settings, no diagonal rows, no setting triangles. After you have the entire quilt sewn together in straight rows you cut it apart (2 cuts) and then reassemble. That creates the on-point settings and the setting triangles. It is a very attractive quilt before cutting, so it takes nerve to make those cuts. Fun though. There are only 3 simple blocks in the entire quilt.

Thanks for the explanation, I just went on line and bought the pattern. After viewing the demo, I understand how hard it would be to cut it after having made such a lovely quilt. I appreciate the info.
