I like the lay-out of #1 but the #2 would give you lots of space to do some great quilting in the white!! Whichever you choose will look really good. Hope we get to see it when finished.

Oooooo...tough choice. They're both gorgeous! If I had to pick just one, I think I'd go with the 2nd one. Have fun with it!!

I like the fractured look of one but I would play with the tonal values of the fabrics - either start your strips lighter in the centre and gradually darken as you radiate out or vice versa. I'd play with both in EQ and see which I liked best. You could even emphasisie this by toning in your creams as well, ie from cream through beige to brown. :-D
