I love them. I can't see why you said you are not so talented. Those look like talented work to me! I especially love the one with the knitted accents. People pay a fortune for one-of-a-kind items like that.

The jackets are Beautiful. I make and teach jackets, and will be working with a knitter to add to mine. Yours are great. Do you have some directions? I'd love to try one of yours. Pegeth

I did something similar a few years ago, but I do not knit (by choice) so I went to the Goodwill, and found a nubby knit sweater the right colors and carefully cut it to make the collar and cuffs. I like yours better. :-)

Izzy posted a Crumb Quilt Block tutorial. I use the same technique except I keep going. I start in the back of the sweatshirt, work up and across the sleeves then over the shoulders and down the front. I cut up the front after I finish. The knitting part is tougher because you have to know the gauge of the yarn and needles you choose. It's all about math. Any good knitter will know what to do. I knitted the cuffs, collar and bottom band then machine sewed them on. Hope that helps.

Very impressive. How did you line it up to match on the fronts?
