I made two of the one on the bottom and they are on my living room end tables. I love them.

Would it be possible to get a pattern for the one on top. It is beautiful. I'd be happy to pay postage or for copies, etc, if it is available.

Think about having your doilies framed. I brought some treasured ones to a wonderful framer and he did a marvelous job with double round mats etc. it took a ong time as they hand tacked all around the edges of the doily so it would not slip or move once the frame was hanging on the wall but they turned out BEAUTIFULLY!! Just a thought. They look great on the walls of my 1926 house...

lucky you. a beautiful old house and framed doilies too. That is pretty expensive but I'd love to have it done. We have a local framing shop here. Thanks for the reply

I have a pattern that shows 6 doves almost touching bills together in a circle that I have made twice. It is really challenging. I got it out of an old book I have out on loan. I have to get it back. It is a beautiful pattern and I'd hate to ever lose it. IT is about 25 inches around or so. I made one for my son in D.C. and he told me I was an artist with thread. He paints with different mediums, works at an art store an teaches classes in painting. I'd like to make one for our church. The young preacher works with wood, and I'm betting he could make a frame for it.

Wordpaintervs, I will have to look for it. Not sure if this is one I made before Hurricane Katrina or afterward. PM please.

    Oh that is beautiful~~~
My Mom used to crochet doilies and other nice things with thread like that. I only crochet with yarn. Me and the small crochet hooks just don't get along. Wish I could do that though. I think not many people are into that sort of crochet like they used to be! Keep up the lovely work.
