beautiful quilt. where, may I ask, do all ya'll get your notions at? thread is so expensive on the internet, and my bf doesn't like going to walmart. I've looked at walmart and the internet for sewing machine needles that have the size number on them. Because I can not find them, I always universal needles. I can't find any 100 % cotton, just nylon and polyester mixed, polyester and cotton, metalic thread I've been able to find. I always get the cotton polyester blend.

Beautiful quilt and I really like the quilting. It is just so complementary to the design of the quilt. I especially like the color placement-it is enchanting.

The metallic thread worked so well with your pretty quilting designs. I have used a microtex (80/12) needle with metallic thread with success while quilting. I will have to try your 18 size needle. Thanks for the great info.

Gorgeous! Love the colors you chose. Have not tried paper piecing as of yet. You did a very nice job. Thanks for sharing this.

WOW! That is one gorgeous quilt! I can't even begin to imagine paper piecing all those points. I'm glad you really like doing that. You did a fabulous job with the quilting too.
