Skypony, I live in a small town with little to choose from so most of my purchases are online. I buy the majority of my quilting threads at Connecting Threads which offer both cotton and polyester threads. My embroidery threads I'm still trying to use up as I don't embroidery like I used to. My metallic threads I purchased from BFC Creation-Stash website as I wanted to try them out for when I change over to a new embroidery thread when mine runs out. My serger threads I order thru Walmart online as they seem to have a better selection. But over all if I find someone offering a good deal online that's where I go...............for fabrics, batting and threads.

Carol Jean, I can't take the credit for the color placement as it was all Jinny Beyer's doing. At the time she offered a set of all 150 fabrics in a 2" x 6" or close to it size so little waste. The pattern has been discontinued but she did put it up on sale just last week at a discount. This pattern came with 2 sizes to choose from too.

I loved the colors so much I purchased her jelly roll sets containng all 150 colors plus her 5" (whatever they're called) set for a quilt my sister wants me to make. She also loved the wallhanging.............but she's not going to get it....teehee. They also had been on sale at the time as I couldn't have afforded them otherwise. Her fabrics are gorgeous though. The border fabric also came from her site.

Hello again, I think someone here emailed me privately for the quilting pattern I used and I gave them the wrong one. Its still from Ellen Munnich's website but the pattern is called AO1027 Starry Nights. If you went to the site looking for it, it should be fairly close to the incorrect one I stated.

    Sorry about that.

Stunning quilt and quilting. Lucky you with robotics too. I have a sit-down mid-arm and I stay as far away from sewing on black as I can. Yours is gorgeous.

WOW, you did an amazing job on your quilt. I like your use of metallic thread. Great job.
