I will admit that I don't usually like quilt jackets....they just look to bulky to me. But yours is amazing!! I would definitely wear yours!! Beautiful fabric choices, great block pattern and wonderful jacket pattern. Did not know about classes for sewing with Craftsy so I will have to check it out. I absolutely love your jacket. I am sure you will get lots of compliments when you wear it.

For most of my jackets, I don't put any batting or flannel in them. I put the rows of blocks on a foundation fabric (stitch and flip). It makes one less layer so less bulk. In this jacket I used some silk that I had had for years for the foundation fabric (I know. It's kind of a sin to use silk that way, but I'd had it forever and I'm trying to use up stuff I have) which made it really soft. I'm with you, I don't like the bulky look.
