    Beautiful jacket. I am so tempted to dust off my garment sewing skills and make one (I think I have an old jacket pattern too.)

    Do it! It's a lot of fun especially if you have a simple jacket pattern that fits. Make sure you can put the sleeves in flat. It's possible to do a set in sleeve put in after the jacket body is sewn at shoulders and side seams but it's quite a bit harder.
