:( Makes me want to make quilts out of my husband's shirts now, I have saved them for A LONG time. He still is here! I just like to save fabric.
how sad, but great of you to do this for that family.
Blessings,

That was so great of you to do that. We had a nurse from Hospice ask our guild to make a t-shirt quilt for a daughter who lost her mother this year. The mother had intended it for Christmas. Well it got done and it sure makes you feel so good inside.

Beautiful quilt. Beautiful expression of your thoughtfulness for these children. Surely they will feel their dad's arms around them when wrapped in these quilts.

That will be such a special gift for them to cherish forever. I am in the process of doing the same thing for a niece who lost her husband and has 3 girls. I was thrilled when she asked me to make them each a quilt.
