Very pretty !! Sorry you had problems (but sometimes quilts tend to be ornery and think they have a mind of their own along with the sewing machines !LOL) . Thanks for sharing :0)

Love your creative idea of replicating the circles on the unpieced half. Genius. I don't know how you kept your circles so round. Great job.

I love your concept for the quilt and you did a great job on it. It may have given you a horrible day but the end result is stunning!

Some of you may remember my post last week when I was not having a good day quilting. I went back the next day and finished my quilt. The half circles were cut from a pieced half jelly roll of batiks, I had bought in Florida last year. I appliqued this and stitched the echoes of the semi circles on white squares with a zig zag stitich and variagated thread, using QAYG method. I then mad a 2.5 in border in a matching turqoise bati, a 5 in border in white. Backed and binded with another batik and stitchd a diamond in the intersection of each of the white squares and also in the turqoise stepping stone in the border. It is a large KS quilt and I did this on my dsm.
Love your use of a jellyroll. Very inventive.

Unique design and a very pretty quilt. I'm glad your bad quilting day didn't last. I usually find if I'm having a problem with anything, putting away to another time usually works.
