I do, and the bed sometimes.....works for me though I would love a wall.

I've used my floor for cutting table, design space, sandwiching spot, etc. Now that I finally have a studio, I have a cutting table and a design space, but still sometimes use the floor for sandwiching anything bigger than a small throw, as my cutting table isn't very big.

This is what I do also, my hubby put a long curtain rod above the closet and I hung batting and pin my pieces as I go. I do use the floor tho when layering but will have to rethink that since last time I couldn't get up...kept thinking about that commercial "I've fallen and can't get up"....not good!
