That's the kind of answer I always get!!LOL I just wish I had a small sewing room instead of a corner in the bedroom where the cabinet fits. Oh well, I'll just have to make do a few more years.

I am amazaed that when a husband says NO, a wife takes that as go ahead and do it. I always did and once I moved us while my husband was at work. He came home to a empty house and asked the neighbor where we lived and she told him his new address. We laughed about that for years.
I think you will love your new sewing room much more with the new storage. Wonderful room and I love the windows.
    Great work.
OMG.. I fell out of my chair laughing!!!

MEN JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND. GO FOR IT AND WEAR PROTECTIVE GEAR. GOOD LUCK AND PIC US WHEN IT'S TOTALLY GUTTED.

I desperately need a larger house but it's not happening now either. I am at my dining room table today and dinner is in front of the tv (again) tonight.

Anyone have a gennie and one wish to give away?

I was looking at the pictures of the re-do and saw the sewing machine table I am thinking of getting. I told my dh the table was in the pics of a lady who knocked down a wall to make her sewing room bigger. Having actually seen one in a home, I mentioned I will probably order the table. His reply, "That's great. Just don't get any ideas about knocking down walls!" lol

I'm the practical one: I hope it wasn't a load bearing wall. If so, he'll notice.

You go , girl! What a great project when no one is looking. You cleaned it up really nicely too. Now you just need a sawz-all to get rid of that pesky 2x4. Enjoy!

You know its really dangerous to leave me home alone, I get into something like that just about everytime. The last one was pulling up the carpet in the living room and dinning room so it will be alright. Libby
