Mine is finally finished, not without it's warts. I changed out the pockets as I wanted zippers & put in some magnetic snap closures on the top. Also added loops for the handles to try & make them a little sturdier. I may hand stitch the liner to the base still, as I don't like the idea of things being able to fall out through the woven strips if they happen to slide under the liner. oh my word. look at all that work! you will treasure that forever! i think its beautiful and i really love it. i love making totes but i dont know if i would have the intestinal fortitude to start this one quite yet. hats off to you and thank you for sharing so many photos. it really shows the work involved in the making of this!

You ladies have made awesome bags and both of you chose great colors. Love making bags and this one does seem more challenging that I have done, but it is OH soooo worth the work~!! Great jobs ladies.
