What a story ! Scraps a ruler and use your brain and out comes a beautiful quilt. I enjoyed all the reading and variations of block placement also. Thank you for the guide for us to follow. Now my undesirable fabric can have a new home in a beautiful quilt top. hugs

There are 80 bocks so far on the board. I have burned through the undesirable lights lol and am ripping from other sources and still have some dark left. I think I need to make at least 200 blocks to have a fair size quilt.
I love them both but I think the second one I like a little better. Thanks for the instructions and the pictures. I am now excited to tackle my scrap box and make this quilt.

I am so happy to see this here , I seen this quilt hanging at a quilt show and had written down the name of the book and then of course lost it . This is my all time favorite string quilt and this is the other all time favorite . (Scroll down on the link page )

This quilt reminds me of an apartment building in the city with each apartment having different curtains hanging in the windows. I like the light medium darks in this pattern. I found some on pinterest and might have to consider making me one of these. This is a grate scrap user.
