Great scrappy quilt. I used dryer sheets to make heart appliques once for a greatneice's quilt. They worked out quite well for me.

I've been saving them for about a week now but didn't have a pattern in mind until I saw your diamonds. Will have to give this a try.

Pretty quilt. I haven't used dryer sheets; just use cheap muslin or "what was I thinking when I bought this???" ugly fabric. Have also used catering table cloths they sometimes discard. Don't use a batting if I used fabric foundation & just call them "Summer Quilts" because they are a little lighter in weight. Kathy
