Great job! The changing pads are wonderful, because you don't always have the best place to change the baby!

Thanks for all your encouragement. I found the the pink velcro in a new section at Joann's. It includes brown, white and pink and if I remember correctly, neon green?? Also the PUL fabric to cover diapers in neat patterns. One caution on the velcro, although it is wider and pretty colors, I had to un-sew it once and it actually ravelled a little.

Love your diaper bag, very nice colours. Wish I could find some coloured velcro in Canada. Thank you for sharing.

I have made 5 of these using this same pattern. I bought a second copy of the pattern just in case I wear out the first one. I made one small change. Instead of folding out the change pad, I made a huge pocket on the back side of the bag and made a change pad about 24 by 24 that fits inside when folded. I am sure I will be making several more of these for when more great grands come along.

Thanks, I like your idea for the pocket! When attaching the velcro, I wonder about it sticking to everything else. Have you ever used the rubber sheeting and sewn a backing of flannel on it? Wondering how that would wash up. I often pick up a remnant of this at Joann's and if it's close to a yard I can get two small pads out of it.
