personally, i like the darker border for two reasons, it makes the center pop, and dirt doesn't show as much

I'd like a thinner black inner border and then a wider polka dot outer border.

I think you need to take that black fabric outside for a true look at it, make sure it's actually black.

It's a beautiful quilt. I would take that lightest color that you have and do a narrow border with it, then another border with one of the dark prints and make it twice the width of the light border, then bind in black.

narrow black and then the floral again if you have it. if not, the black is great.
