I love the polka dot border. A narrow black border, then a polka dot or the floral fabric might look really good.

I like the look of a black, narrow focus border. I think it would frame it beautifully. I love that quilt top!

I would use a small black border and then a larger polka dot border. It's a beautiful quilt.

That is exactly what I was thinking, thin dark inner border and dot outer border. The black so brings out the designs in the prints. Please post when you are finished. It is classy quilt.

I think I would use a narrow black, then the dot, then bind back in black. Your quilt is really neat. I usually don't like dots, but this is wonderful use of them, may have to invest in some dots. thanks for sharing.

For some reason the colors look "yucky" when photographed, but in "real life" they are beautiful golden browns and blacks all with glitter.
Now, I have put 2 options for the borders:
one with poka dots
one with black
Once again, I would like your opinions and on Monday I can finish it up.
Thanks again for previous and future help. I just love this group.

I was taught to use a narrow dark border (say 1.5-2 inches) to stop the activity from a busy pattern, like this one, then add a wider outside border; so I agree with using both fabrics; a narrow dark border, then a wider 4-5 inch polka-dot border

I think this would look better too. Although the black just seems a little too dark. How about a cranberry color?
