I love your quilt! It is beautiful just as it is. I have longed for years to be able to do something like this and am so envious - handquilting and I don't get along. Put it away for a bit and then get it out and really admire your work. Do not regret using white thread for one minute. Display it away from white furniture, maybe in the living room.

You're being too hard on yourself. We think it's lovely and you did a great job on it. That is a lot of work to not enjoy. Please give it another look and you might see what everyone else does.

Silly question time - Have you laundered it yet? I never really like my quilts until I wash out all of the starch or sizing, and it "blooms". "blooms" is a word I use to describe the texture it gets when it is all relaxed. Always my favorite quilting moment. I think your quilting shows nicely.

*Edited to add* If you're really that disappointed, I'd be happy to take it off your hands. :)
Same here....both comments!! I do love your hand quilting...it looks elegant and beautiful. The thing about whole cloth quilts is that it is all about the quilting. Try dressing the bed with some pillows and a smaller quilt folded over the foot. I'll bet you come to love it...

    It's beautifull.
If you need a bed for it - I know one that could use it.
