You shouldn't be disappointed. I think it's very lovely. Be proud of your work.

I think it is beautiful. If you are really disappointed, maybe you could do some hand dyeing of the fabric to accentuate the beautiful medallion. I wouldn't practice on this of course, but you could try it out on a small sample. A little shading works with paint, why not fabric?

This is classic and neutral. Love the beautiful quilting! Now all you have to do if you want a little colour is to make a foot runner for the end of the bed. You could make them seasonal. What do you think?

I love it and I can see all your wonderful stitching. A work of art. Maybe not as bright as you like it but I bet in person you can see mroe detail..

be proud of what you did....a whole cloth is supposed to be subtle in its beauty and elegance....granted your 'backing fabric" is lovely, but on it you do not see the beautiful stitching......I bet if you had that appraised you would not be disappointed.....put it on your bed and enjoy it.....

I think it's beautiful. The quilting will show up as it ages - even a few months. It also will pop more against a darker backgound - the furniture and rug are beige/. Drape it over a bed with dark, solid sheets or over a dark chair, or even hung on a darker painted wall.
