    That is so wonderful to celebrate her art. We do put so much of ourselves in our quilts.

    I am sorry you have lost your MIl and your friend to alzheimers. I am glad she is no longer suffering.

    Iam so sorry for your loss, but I am sitting here with tears streaming down my face. This is because 6 years ago we did the same thing at my mother's memorial service. The room was filled with quilts she had made, especially the ones she made for her 8 children. We each sat with the quilt on the back of our chairs to honor her. May you always be wrapped in warmth of the quilts knowing that each stitch was placed with love.
