Beautiful quilt, I love it, you did a great job on it. I wouldn't do a whole lot of quilting on it, don't want to take away from the thunderbird. Just my opion.

Absolutely Unique..Well done and thanks for sharing..mmmm I would probably go with your idea..swirly for the white and stitch in the ditch for the bird..It really is Sweet!!!

I'd create feathers on the bird by quilting it diagonally on the wings and tail, with maybe a cross hatch on the body.

Beautiful quilt! You'll have fun fmq it. The easiest way I was taught was to STD in a few grids following seams. Then you can remove pins and FMQ in the sections.
