For some reason I have three stacks of different shades of blue. I am not particularily a blue fan.

When I destashed a couple of weeks back I was surprised how many blues and greens I had collected. I saw that pattern and thought what a way to showcase some of the really pretty larger prints I've seen recently.

I usually choose a pattern first, then start buying fabric for the quilt. I have more greens and bugundys in my stash.

I am drawn to shades of pink. It is my favorite color and probably what I have most of.

I always buy then figure out a pattern later.
I always buy fabric I like and worry about patterns latter. :) It's more fun that way. I really like the pattern you have chosen and can't wait to see your quilt being made. :)

I have various assortments of collections.... I have a black and white, batik, civil war, music, working toward a bright, jewel tone group.... eventually I break down and make a quilt from one or another.... I have made three so far from my music collection, and still have more fabric there. I collected for several years... Oh yes, there is my jungle collection. I wanted a jungle theme for my room. Problem is, that in that collection, they do not all go together... so I have SUB collections.... Yes, I guess it is an illness... :)

Yes! I tend to collect batiks...especially in red, white and blue! I'm drawn to reds and blues mostly though. And...I LOVE rose print fabric!
