Yes, it happens to me!!! And when I sit down to start sewing, one of them likes to lie down behind the machine. I guess it's pretty warm there with the machine running and the lamp on. I'm just concerned that she'll flop her tail under the needle while the machine is in motion. Yikes!!!

Ellie, the tortie at the end likes to try and catch the needle when I am sewing, it is a wonder she has never severed a toe. :? She is so fast, she will sit for hours and just watch and then all of the sudden, like a flash, her paw is up and almost under the needle. She also likes to gnaw on the pin cushion when she can get to it. She and the grey tuxedo, Wily, also like to try to eat as much thread as they can. I wish I could leave them out of the room, but they just sit at the door and scratch and cry. I can't stand to hear them unhappy. So I just try to keep an eye on them and set them up with a bed or box to keep them interested.

They are soo precious. I just lost my cat to old age. Broke my heart. What is it about fabric - it just attracts cats. I do not like to iron. Cats on my fabric - good time to take a break and just love on them.
Thanks for sharing this picture.
Blessings,
Scherrie

What an adorable picture. All 3 made the same decision, so cute.

Looks like my house, but mine like to wait until the fabric is newly ironed and toasty warm. They like the computer and sewing machine also, because they are warm.

Great shot of all three of them! They are queens of their realm!

Scherrie, I am so sorry for the loss of your cat. It is so sad, our cats offer us so much comfort and entertainment. Take care of yourself, Maribeth
