Wow. Too cool! I am waiting for my friend that embroiders for a living to do the wording on my quilt. I am doing it all pieced but I tried using 3 hues of fabric to create a shadow effect but it isn't working so I got new fabric and am starting over. I am using all the same fabric but still piecing the windows to show the lines. I hope it works. I had a heck of a time finding fabric for it. This is the fabric I got to go around the Tardis. I hope it works!!!!!!!!!

Your TARDIS quilt is wonderful. You both did a great job.

Fantastic quilt! My son is one of those Dr. Who geeks, too. But I don't know that I have the nerve to try this with all that lettering. I love your work and design.

Thanks, Marjoeal! We found that all the lettering could fit on an 8-1/2" x 17" sheet, and even considered printing on fabric so we wouldn't have to embroider. My daughter spent about 10 hours on the embroidery. It was a labor of love, for sure!

Tylynn, I wish we'd found this fabric for ours - that will be perfect!

The "wood-grain" quilting technique you used on the door is outstanding. I haven't seen that before, and it is so beautiful. Very well done. You should all be very proud of your work

Love it! My daughter is working on a Tardis quilt for her bff. I'm going to forward this to her. She'll love it.

Completely geeked!! I have watched the Dr. & companions since the 1970's but time is malleable. Dr. Who is a favorite all time Tv Show! This is a great quilt!!! If I make one I may have to have K-9 peeking out of the door.
