    you take the amount you spent and triple the price that's how you figure it out we ask our teacher so one would be what you spent two for labor and time

    What a cute quilt -- love the little lamb!

    As for putting a value to your work, I had the same problem. I donated a baby quilt to a silent auction and the form I had to fill out asked for a value (I guess for tax purposes). I had a hard time figuring that one out and therefore also "donated" my time, using only the cost of material for the quilt's value. It's so hard to put a price on your labor when it's done for fun! :)

    This is how we hang quilts for our local quilt show. The hangers work great. We can buy 50 hangers at Salvation Army for $2.

    Great idea. I use a traverse rod in my sunroom that doesn't have drapes on it. Just put hooks thru the holes and hook binder clips to them. Your idea is simpler.
