    Well, I finished the strip quilt which so shocked the lady in JoAnn's. I cut the strips on the straight grain which apparently was wrong and therefore had a bias monster on my hands. I persevered and hand quilted it to withing an inch of it's life so hopefully it won't go anywhere.

    I think it's great. And I didn't know Joanne's had award winning, quilt police on their staff. Ignore them. You done good!

    Wow! That is one bright, cheery quilt! It would be a perfect quilt for a lucky person to take off to college with them.

    I think it is very pretty. Has the JoAnn's lady seen it since you finished, if not, take it and show it to her and she will change her mind.

    I always cut my "strings" for strip quilts on the straight grain. Who doesn't? lol

    True, and it especially doesn't matter if you use a foundation or paper backing!! Sheesh. Some people.
